<title>Las Vegas Rat Pack Team Notes</title>
<description>Alex Rodriguez is on the way to the desert. After years of failed attempts, Rat Pack owner Eric Wickstrom, was finally able to land the slugging third baseman. Negotiations started early yesterday evening and continued up until Midnight with both sides going back and forth. “Counter offers were coming in while I watching this weeks ‘Treme’ on HBO. Any other player I would have put the talks on hold as I can’t be bothered while watching “Treme.” However, Alex was worth hitting pause on the DVR for,” said Wickstrom.

		<title>2010 Draft Lottery</title>
<description>The first round of the draft is decided by lottery. All other rounds will follow reverse order of standings, like in the past. The rule, used since the 2004 season, is intended to give less incentive for teams to lose games in order to get a better draft pick.

<title>Ian Rintel Award for Front Office Executive of the Year</title>
<description>The Ian Rintel Award for Front Office Executive of the Year recognizes the league's most improved team from one season to the next. The award is named after former owner Ian Rintel, whose Waikiki Keys bounced back from a 33-129 record in 1993 to a 76-86 record in 1994. The 43-win jump stood for 14 years as the best turn-around in DMBL history; it was finally eclipsed last year by Eric Wickstrom, who improved his Las Vegas Rat Pack by 54 wins.

		<title>Rookie Watch with Phil Plantier</title>
<description>Who are the top candidates for the Pat Listach Rookie of the Year Award? Last year's winner was a nail-biter, with Carolina's Dustin Pedroia edging out Marietta's Josh Hamilton by a single vote. Who will the voters prefer this year?
This year is the second-biggest rookie class since we started Rookie Watch way back in 2002! There were 128 rookies this year, up five from last year. The record is held by the 2007 season, when there were 148 rookies.
This year's rookie class is comprised of 54 batters

		<title>Endzone Animals Team Notes</title>
<description>Madonna's favorite boy toy will be leaving Philadelphia with a one way ticket out of town. Animals GM Frankie Ravioli has confirmed he is talking to two teams about a trade that would ship A-Rod far away from the city of brotherly love. A source close to the situation said that since Brandon Webb's status for next season is in limbo, the Animals are looking for a young starting pitcher as part of the deal. While attending a Trenton Sack Attack game to watch the organizations top prospect Stephen Strasburg pitch, Owner Anthony Pucci said, "A-Rod will be traded, and he will be by the trade deadline. We will get full value for him!" he followed that up by saying, "I'm like Mark Messier babeeee, I guarantee both will happen!"

		<title>Endzone Animals Team Notes</title>
<description>The Animals are making it known that they are in the trade market again. The Animals have a few positions they are trying to shore up. At the top of their list is a lefty slugging outfielder. They also are in the market for a starting pitcher and a reliever. The Animals have had preliminary talks with a couple of teams, but can't seem to get a deal done yet. The Animals said they have a few chips on their roster that they would consider moving if the right player is offered. The Animals also have not hesitated in the past to move a high draft pick if it means getting the player they target. GM of the Animals Frankie Ravioli said, "If a team has a player that they think we would be interested in, by all means please send us an email to see if we are interested". Considering that the Animals are one of the busiest teams in the DMB, we think a few trades will go down eventually.

		<title>Hoboken Cutters Team Notes</title>
<description>Days after the tragic death of their top prospect, the Hoboken Cutters announced they will rename the homee field in honor of Nick Adenhart. The 22-year-old was killed in a car accident early Friday morning. The most promising of the five prospects drafted by Hoboken, Adenhart was their first ineligible prospect selected in the 2009 draft, No. 76 overall and the sixth pick of the sixth round. Formerly known as The Quarry at Cutters Field, Hoboken's ballpark will become The Quarry at Adenhart Field starting with Sunday's game against Arkansas.
