Craig Biggio of the Sharks became the second player this season to reach 100 home runs for his career. He joined Luis Gonzalez of Phoenix. The second baseman, hitting under .200, connected off Stanhope's Erik Hiljus with Jason Kendall on first in the third inning of a 10-8 loss to the Might Men at the Shark Tank on March 23.

Fresh off the DL, Reggie Sanders of Harrison led off Sunday's game with a home run off Roger Clemens, joining Biggio in the 100 club. The Rats still lost though, 13-5, to Arkansas at Quisenberry Memorial Park.

Vancouver's "Slammin'" Sammy Sosa joined an exclusive club March 25 when he hit career home run No. 300. Only four other players have reached that plateau: Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr. and Juan Gonzalez. With teammate Edgar Martinez on second base, Sosa went yard off Rick Reed in the first inning of a 14-5 win over Stanhope at the IronDome.

Another exclusive DMBL club added a new member. Curt Schilling of Arkansas became just the fifth pitcher to reach 1,500 strikeouts. After passing John Smoltz, who is now in Newark's bullpen, for 5th on the all-time strikeout list, Schilling make it strikeout No. 1,500 when he fanned seven Dragons Friday in a 6-2 loss at Quisenberry Memorial Park. Victim No. 1,500? Second baseman Adam Kennedy who only recently was signed by Phoenix after placing Todd Walker on the DL.

Stanhope's Mariano Rivera finally caught Roberto Hernandez for the all-time saves lead at 129. Mo finished off the last 1 1/3 innings for Rick Reed in a 5-3 win over Harrison at The Landfill on Friday. He took over the top spot when he saved Kerry Wood's 3-0 win over Philly on Saturday at The Eagle's Nest.

Billy Wagner's third save of the season for Vancouver gave him 78 for his career, tying Dennis Eckersley for 8th all-time. He saved a 4-1 win for Jeff Zimmerman at Bullhead Memorial Stadium on Thursday. The very next day, Wagner picked up a save in another 4-1 win at Carolina to pass Eck.

Kevin Appier of Columbia tied Smoltz for 7th in career starts, with 243. In his fifth start of the year on Thursday, he surrendered 11 hits and five runs in seven innings, getting tagged for the loss in a 5-4 setback at home against Tijuana.

Vancouver's Jeff Bagwell finally hit one out this season. On Sunday in the IronDome, he connected off Honolulu's Mark Mulder for a three-run blast in a 10-2 romp to break a tie for 7th on the all-time home run list with Albert Belle. It was Bagwell's 267th career dinger.

Barry Bonds of Arkansas tore up DMBL pitching capping off a hot week with two mult-HR games, giving him 14 for the year. His next round-tripper will tie McGwire for the most in DMBL history at 381.
