	Team Notes Dragons' slayers (6/1) After Friday's 20-15 slugfest with the Philadelphia Endzone Animals, the Dragons have scored 10 or more runs five times this year. With 462 runs scored this season, the team is third in the league in offense. "We're firing on all cylinders," said Nomar Garciaparra, who leads the team in most offensive categories. "The top of the lineup is just cranking." The team's first three hitters, Johnny Damon, Tony Eusebio and Garciaparra, have combined to go 12-24 with 15 R and 10 RBI in two games since Jorge Posada went down with an injury Wednesday. Bullpen help After repeated cries from the fatigued bullpen, management finally went out and got another arm for the depleted relief corps. "We've got some good arms here" said reliever Jeff Nelson, "but we are piling up the innings." It got so bad that several starters have already been called in to pitch in relief. "We're not getting enough days rest" said starter Cal Eldred. "Brucey [starter Bruce Chen] had to tie some Otter Pops around his harm after the last time he pitched." Scott Sauerbeck was signed to help take some pressure off the pen, but Sauerbeck has been disappointing so far. In the two games he's appeared in so far, Sauerbeck has allowed 4 earned runs in 1 2/3 innings for a 21.60 ERA. "I just need to get accustomed to the new park" said Sauerbeck. Sauerbeck last appeared on the Endzone Animals, compiling a 7.79 ERA in 20 appearances before being cut. Guzman gone To make room on the roster for Sauerbeck, rookie pitcher Geraldo Guzman was cut. "All I wanted was a chance to prove myself" said a tearful Guzman through a translator. "I give my heart and soul to this team and what do I get? A knife in the back!" Guzman proceeded to shout obsenities, overturn the table and storm out of the locker room.
