The 2011 Playoffs are under way!

Rat Pack Clinches

The Las Vegas Rat Pack won the Hanover Division as both contenders lost their respective games yesterday. The Rat Pack lost to the Hitmen 5-1 and the Cutters were shellacked by the Morris Division champion Endzone Animals 9-2. Playoffs will begin Monday.

Endzone Animals take the Morris

Philadelphia locked up a first round bye with a big 5-0 win over Hoboken yesterday. It's their second Morris Division title in franchise history. Meanwhile, the Cutters will have to win tomorrow to have a chance to tie the Rat Pack for the Hanover Division.

Mudcats Lock Up Last Spot

The Mudcats became the sixth and final team to make the 2011 playoffs with a 8-3 drubbing of Amityville.

Sardines Clinch - One Spot Left

The Straphangers clinched the fifth playoff spot, leaving only one final spot remaining. Carolina currently has a 4-game lead on the Mighty Men, who have lost 5 straight.

Clinching Day

Three teams assured themselves of a playoff berth today - Vancouver, Las Vegas and Philadelphia all clinched Thursday. Sardine City could clinch tomorrow if they win their final game against Marietta.

Hoboken Clinches

Hoboken became the first team to clinch a playoff spot today. The Cutters backed into it, losing to Las Vegas 7-3, but Marietta also lost their match with Sardine City.

Myers No-Hits Buddah

Brett Myers pitched the second no-hitter this season, shutting down Team Buddah in a 1-0 win. Clay Buchholz was the hardluck loser, as the Rat Packs could only muster 3 hits in the game.

Hanover takes All-Star Game

The Hanover Division held off a late Morris Division rally to win 9-6. Results of the game and voting are now posted.

Strasburg tosses first no-hitter in 3 years

Stephen Strasburg held the powerful Endzone Animals hitless in his first game back from injury. He struck out 11 and walked 3. It was the first no-hitter since A.J. Burnett's in April of 2008.
